The Greek collective society of authors and directors of audiovisual work has signed a new agreement with the state television in which authors and directors get an equal share on author rights for the rerun of their work.
The Scriptwriters' Guild of Greece will have its first website ready by June.
FSE's foundation was announced in an article, accompanied by a photo, in the bulletin of the Association of Greek Independent Audiovisual Producers, which was distributed during the 42nd International Film Festival (16-21 November 2001).
The Scriptwriters' Guild of Greece has secured for scriptwriters a high level in the Points System created by the Greek Ministry of Culture in connection with financial support for movies.
The Scriptwriters' Guild of Greece in collaboration with Greek Directors' Guild and the Association of Greek Independent Producers, will organise a meeting in January dealing with the importance of the script in the audiovisual field, and will invite a well-known director who shares this point of view. Suggestions are welcomed
